The process of purchasing Murphy beds, Closets and/or cabinetry

The first suggested step is to visit our showroom in St. Petersburg.

Inside there are skilled professionals that can show you many different options and discuss your ideas with you.

The next step would be to schedule a free in-home consultation.

At the consultation, you will meet and discuss everything with one of the owners of the business. Measurements and other details will be noted.

Once the purchase is made, allow 4-6 weeks for it to be installed. If you have a certain deadline and things need to be rushed, it is still very likely to be done in time.

The process of having your purchase installed

 The pieces of your murphy bed and any additional cabinetry will be assembled in the room you have selected.

We always advise our clients to clear the room as much as possible to allow enough space for the work to be done.

Once all of the cabinetry is in the room, the outside murphy bed cabinet is built.

It is then raised and set on the wall.

The murphy bed mechanism is attached and tightened.

The door of the murphy bed is assembled.

If it is a Panel Bed, the metal frame is attached to it with additional support pieces to allow for extra weight.

The door is attached to the mechanism arm and tightened down.

All additonal cabinetry is then built and set up in the room as designed.

All doors & drawers are added and attached.

If ordered, the lights and trim will be put in.

The tilting headboard is attached.

All cabinetry is locked together and attached to the studs of the wall.

All handles and/or knobs are attached to any doors and/or drawers.

The mattress is put on the murphy bed.

DONE!

Depending on how much you have ordered, this process can take from 4-8 hours.
